Our History

Founded in 2017, the Duncano Foundation is the Philanthropic Social Investment arm of Duncan Oduor Otieno and his Family as well as associated businesses.

We are funded by family and associated businesses; various donor partners; other philanthropic organizations and individuals around the world, that share the Foundation's beliefs and philosophy.

We design our initiatives around all key areas of education empowerment and sustainable support across Africa.

Duncan Oduor

Co-Founder & Chairman

Brings visionary leadership and a deep passion for community transformation. Under his leadership, the foundation has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at improving education for underprivileged communities in Africa.

Caroline Oduor

Co-Founder & Vice Chairperson

Plays a pivotal role in shaping the foundation's strategic initiatives. Her commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment influences the foundation's programs, ensuring they are inclusive and address the needs of the most vulnerable.

Dr. Richard Ronoh

Country Director General - Kenya

Responsible for overseeing all of the foundation's operations within Kenya. His expertise in strategic management and program development ensures the effective implementation of the foundation's projects and initiatives.
